The GYXTC8Y cable is constructed by inserting a 250μm fiber into a loose tube made of a high-modulus material filled with a water-repellent compound. After longitudinally wrapping the outer layer of the loose tube with a water blocking strip, the steel wire is integrated into an 8-shaped polyethylene sheath to form a cable.
