A few days ago, the United States increase sanctions against Chinese companies such as Huawei, claiming that any use of U.S. technology will be subject to U.S. regulation, ready to ban TSMC for Huawei OEMs and lower the U.S. technology content standards to 10%.
In response, Huawei responded with two press conferences. One is the previous Consumer BG online, which unveiled a number of new hardware, including the Mate Xs, a folding screen phone, and the Huawei Mobile Service (HMS), which will be Huawei's way out of the Google Mobile Service (GMS) constraint.
The other launch did not aim at the consumers, but it was significant.
According to Huawei's official press release, Huawei released its latest 5G network solutions during a product and solution launch in London, including a range of products including minimalist RAN, intelligent IP networks, ultra-wide transport networks, green connectivity and AI-enabled end-to-end 5G services.
Song Peng, president of Huawei's BG Marketing and Solutions Sales Department, called it "the best 5G network solution”.
"It is the most extensive 5G commercial deployment experience, the most complete 5G product line, the most advanced Massive MIMO algorithm, and the most comprehensive energy-saving solution.
It is also the industry's only ultra-broadband solution, the industry's only Blade AAU, the industry's only millisecond dynamic spectrum sharing commercial capability, the industry's only NSA/SA dual-stack architecture commercial support, the industry's only end-to-end super uplink commercial support, the industry's only end-to-end slicing commercial support."
The minimalist RAN includes the industry's lightest third-generation Massive MIMO, the most integrated Blade AAU, and the industry's leading generation of 400MHz ultra-broadband AAU solutions.
In smart IP networks, Huawei is the first in the industry to support a possible commitment to SLAs.
On Green Connect, Huawei's 5G AAU uses a highly integrated self-developed chip that could reduce power consumption by more than 15 percent.
AI enables the Power Star solution to achieve multi-standard, multi-band synergy and further reduce power consumption by 15% to 20% across the network, effectively reducing power consumption at 5G sites.
